1. Basic Usage
- Press "Start" on the timer screen.
- When the focus session ends, the timer switches to a break.
- When the break ends, the next focus session begins.
- When the planned number of sets is complete, you can save the session as a focus log.
Use "Pause" when you want to stop temporarily. Use "Finish Focus" when you want to end the session early.
2. Pomodoro Mode and Manual Mode
You can change the mode from the top-right three-dot menu (⋮), then select "Settings." The mode can be changed only before starting a session.
Pomodoro Mode
This mode automatically alternates between focus sessions and breaks based on the focus time, break time, and set count you choose. This is the recommended mode for regular use.
Manual Mode
This mode lets you track focus time freely and switch between focus and breaks manually. It is useful when you do not want to decide the duration in advance.
3. Change Timer Settings
Use the "Change" button near "Settings," which appears slightly below the center of the timer screen. You can change "Focus (min)," "Break (min)," "Long Break (min)," and "Sets."
- Focus (min): the time used for focused work.
- Break (min): the short rest after a focus session.
- Long Break (min): a longer rest after a specified number of focus sessions.
- Sets: the number of focus sessions you want to complete.
4. Entering Focus Notes
Use the focus notes area to write notes for the current session. When the session ends, the notes can be saved as part of the focus log.
You can also save frequently used text as quick templates. This is useful when you often write similar focus notes.
5. Todo, Notes, Calendar, and Focus Logs
Todo
Open Todo from the top-left menu to register tasks. You can also set due dates and priorities.
Notes
Use Notes to save ideas before focusing, things you notice during work, or anything you want to check later. You can switch between multiple notes.
Calendar and Focus Logs
Open the calendar from the top-left menu to review focus logs by date. It is useful for checking which days you focused or left notes.
Focus logs can include focus notes, tags, focus time, start time, and other session details.
Focus Time Summary
Open “📊 Summary” from the top-left menu to review this month, this week, and all-time focus time.
In “Select tag”, you can select a month or week and view the breakdown of actual focus time by tag as a donut chart. Sessions without a tag are counted as “Uncategorized.”
6. Simple Mode and Fullscreen
Simple Mode
Simple Mode reduces the number of visible items so you can focus on the timer. You can switch it from the top-right menu.
Fullscreen
Fullscreen makes the timer larger and easier to see. It is useful when you want to avoid distractions on the screen.
7. Theme
You can change the overall screen theme from Settings.
Choose "System/Browser" to use Light or Navy based on your device or browser appearance setting. Other choices keep the selected theme fixed.
8. Data Storage and Backup
Records and settings are saved in your browser. Focus notes, focus logs, Todo, and notes are not sent to or saved on the administrator’s server.
If you delete browser history or site data, saved records may be lost. Use "Export Data" to export a JSON backup file when needed.
You can restore saved data with "Import Data." Saving the JSON file to a cloud service such as Google Drive also makes it easier to move data to another device.
- In incognito or private browsing, data may not be saved, or it may be deleted when the browser is closed.
- Data files include focus notes, Todo, notes, and templates. Be careful not to share them with others.
